Mrs. Bessie Mae Timms Morris, age 72, of Whitesburg, Georgia formerly of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on
Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Carrollton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Chris Merritt of Whitesburg, Dorothy and Grady Norton of Murphy, NC, Janice Monroe Perry of Carrollton, and Barbara and Ricky Young of Winston; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Rhonna Morris of Missouri; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dolly Mae and Richard Glowacki of Douglasville and Minnie Lee and Bobby Surrett of Piedmont, AL; brother and sister-in-law, Buddy Thomas and Shirley Timms of Cedartown; son-in-law, Richard Williams of Douglasville; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, April 27, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Alton Williams officiating.

Interment will follow at Northview Cemetery in Cedartown.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Sunday, April 26, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
