Mrs. Bessie Lorraine Pulley, age 86 passed away Monday, August 15, 2005. She was born on July 27, 1919 in Rector, Arkansas to the late, Mandy Jane Birchett and Ed Roofe. Mrs. Pulley was one of thirteen brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Pulley was a member of the First Assembly of God of Florence. She worked in the cafeteria at Weeden School for 12 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Preston Pulley; daughter, Betty Lorraine Hopkins; and a son, William Edward Pulley.

Survivors include her sons, Leon Pulley of Atlanta, Georgia; David Pulley of Florence and a daughter, Sharon Statham of Atlanta, Georgia. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 22nd from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at the Greenview Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations are made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville, Ave.; Dallas TX 75231-4596.

The funeral service for Mrs. Bessie Lorraine Pulley will be conducted on Monday, August 22nd at 1:00PM in the Greenview Memorial Chapel. A private graveside service will follow in the Greenview Memorial Garden.
