Mrs. Bennie Doris Goss Benefield, age 85, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020.  She was born on November 23, 1934 in Euharlee, Georgia.  She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Gladys Nelson Goss.

Mrs. Benefield is survived by her daughters, Angela Benefield Rice (Wendell) and Connie Benefield Lane; sons, Mark Eugene Benefield (Brandi) and Anthony Ray Benefield (Margie); sisters, Jean Cowart, Elaine Goss and Sue Stone; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Benefield is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 69 years, Clyde Eugene Benefield; daughter, Norma Jean Benefield and sister, Ruth Fain Smith.

A private service for Mrs. Bennie Doris Goss Benefield will be held at a later date. A public memorial service will be held at a later date.  Floral arrangements, food, gifts, etc. may be taken to 934 6 ^th Street Road, Cedartown, GA 30125.
