Dr. Benjamin "Frank" Wright Jr., age 87, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. He was born on June 11, 1927 in Camden, Alabama. He was the son of the late Benjamin F. Wright, Sr. and Callie Sneed Wright.

Dr. Wright was a retired Chief Engineer of Marriott Hotels, as well as Manager of Polk-Haralson Christian Life Center. He received his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees in Theology from Covington Theological Seminary, and was a licensed minister of the Gospel with Southern Baptist Convention.

Dr. Wright is survived by his daughters Grace Curtis (Thomas) and Joyce Wright; half sister, Faye Koontz; brother-in-law and wife, Dan and Elaine Niemeier; two grandchildren, Evan and Benjamin Curtis; cousin, Dr. Robert Wright (Ann); step-daughter Diane Binder, step-grandson Bill (Elizabeth) Binder, several nephews and his beloved dog, Hershey.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Margaret Grace Niemeier Wright.

The funeral service for Dr. Benjamin "Frank" Wright will be conducted on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at two o'clock in the afternoon at the New Harmony Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Wright and Dr. DeWayne New officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Dr. Wright will receive family and friends on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from twelve o'clock (noon) until the funeral hour at New Harmony Baptist Church.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: David Johnson, Sammy Stephens, Darrell Forrister, Freddie Giles, Ken Rowell, Gray Pettit and Grady McCrickard.

Funeral flowers are accepted; memorial donations can be made to the New Harmony Baptist Church, 951 Prior Station Road, Cedartown, GA 30125.
