Ms. Beatrice Price Wilson, age 90 of Tallapoosa, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014. She was born on July 15, 1923 in Rome, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Cruze Overton Price and Mary Lou Brown Price.

Ms. Wilson is survived by her daughters, Sandee Elliott, Shirley Farmer (Buddy), Wanda Cook (Ricky), Betty Myers (Danny) and Elaine Wilson (Tommy); sons, Jessie Wilson (Sue), James Wilson (Beth), Rex Wilson, Joel Wilson (Tonya), Jack Wilbanks and Larry Castleberry; sister, Lillie Mae Whooten (Herman); thirty-five grandchildren, fifty-five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a host of children she has raised and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Ms. Wilson is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Eugene Wilson; two infant daughters; sons, Hoyt Lamar Hicks, Robert Nolan Wilson, Calvin Perry Wilson and Raymond Elliott; grandsons, Larry Farmer and Daniel Wilson and granddaughter, Michelle Wilson.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Wilson will be conducted on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at two o'clock in the afternoon at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Tallapoosa, Georgia with Rev. Pat Patterson and Rev. Barry Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Wilson will receive family and friends on Friday, April 25, 2014 from twelve o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral at Ms. Wilson's residence, 172 Meadow Street, Tallapoosa, Georgia 30176.
