Mr. Barry Wallace Sr., age 73 of Cedartown passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019. He was born on November 27, 1945 in Cedartown, GA. He was the son of the late Roy Wilson Wallace and Ruby Heath Wallace.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired parts specialist from Lockheed Martin.

Mr. Wallace is survived by his daughter, Jaeme Wallace; sons, Retired Polk County Police Captain Barry Wallace Jr.(Charity), and Todd Wallace (Denise); grand children, Kolin Deaton, Trinity Campbell (Seth), Tatum Wallace, Tristen Wallace; great grandchild, Tucker Campbell; and several other extended family members.

Mr. Wallace is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wilson Wallace.

The graveside service for Mr. Barry Wallace Sr. will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 4:30 in the afternoon at Youngs Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Trey Stephens officiating. Full Military Rights will be performed by the Rockmart American Legion.

The family of Mr. Wallace will receive family and friends on Wednesday August 7, 2019 from two o'clock until four o'clock in the afternoon at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Leslie Roberts, Kolin Deaton, Ed Heath, Michael Heath, Ben Heath, and Retired Cedartown Fire Department Chief Darrell Stephens. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Lewis, Greer "Jr." Hooper, Charles Hooper, Don Bentley, and All Law Enforcement, Public Safety, and First Responders.

The family has requested that flowers be omitted and instead that you just spend that time and money on your family, friends, and loved ones..
