Obituary

Mrs. Barbara Ann (Bobbie) Logan age 74 of Cedartown, formally of Gainesville and Newnan passed away Sunday, December 31, 2006 at her home. Mrs. Logan was born in Newnan February 18, 1932.

Mrs. Logan was a member of First Baptist Church in Cedartown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.J and Sybil Scarborough.

She is survived by her beloved husband, James (Jim) C. Logan, whom she was married to for 56 years, daughter and son-in-law Bonnie and Charles Kinney; daughter, Sue Colston; brother, Joe Scarborough and sister, Rose Smith. Also surviving are grandchildren; Jeff and Tammy Carlton, Carie Brownlow, Katie Colston, and Mary Beth Colston and great grandchildren; Logan Carlton, Tillman Carlton Laney-Beth Carlton, Lanham Carlton and Rhett Kinney. A number of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The memorial service for Mrs. Logan will be conducted on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at twelve noon in the Chapel of First Baptist Church with Dr. David Taylor and Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating.

The Logan family will receive friends prior to the memorial service from eleven o'clock in the morning until noon.

The Logan family request flowers be omitted and memorial contributions are made to First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 720, Cedartown, Georgia 30125 or Heyman Hospice, P.O. Box 163, Rome, Georgia 30163.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Barbara Ann (Bobbie) Logan.
