Mrs. Barbara Nell Colbert Haney, age 71, of Cedartown passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2008. She was born October 31, 1936 in Trion, Georgia.

She is preceded in death by father, Dewey Franklin Colbert; mother, Florence Gayton Bass, step-father, Earl Bass, and husband, Albert Haney.

Family members surviving are daughters, Deborah D. Harrison, Brenda Crawford, Robin Whorton Chandler; sons, Sammy Dean Haney and Albert Paul Haney; sisters, Earlyne Wonas and Vivian Mooney; brother, Ricky Bass. Fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service for Mrs. Barbara Haney will be conducted on Sunday, February 10, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Craig and Rev. R. B. Hulsey officiating. The interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 9, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Doug Chandler, Buddy Harrison, Jefferey Hulsey, Dee Pruitt, John Redding, Joe Redding, Ray Richards, and Wayne Richards.
