Barbara White Grimmett, age 70, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2011. She was born on November 16, 1941 in Cedartown, Georgia.

Mrs. Grimmett is survived by her daughters, Lisa Lynn White, Jean R. Morton, Edith E. Shiverdecker, and Kelly Mechelle White. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Grimmett is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Marion Evans and Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Glenn Mintz; son, Cecil Allen Alexander White, Jr.; and sisters, Diane Evans, Belle Killian, and Beth Frederick.

The Funeral service for Mrs. Grimmett will be conducted on Monday, November 21, 2011 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 6:00 to 9:00 in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Joshua Easterwood, Corey Easterwood, Tyler Maiden, Dillon Maiden, Michael Hill, Travis Puckett, James Puckett, and Wade White will serve as pallbearers. Steve Shiverdecker, Charles Robinson, Robert Bentley, and James T. May will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mrs. Barbara White Grimmett.
