Mrs. Barbara K. Alexander, age 73, of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday July 4, 2020.  She was born on March 31, 1947 in Trion, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Paul H. Kelley and Lillian Agnes Murphey Kelley.

Mrs. Alexander is survived by her daughters, Teri Leann Smith and Jeanne Powell (Van); sons, Kelly McLendon (Laura) and Sonny Alexander (Beth); sisters, Fran Martin (Tom) and Jean Landrum (Bunyan Carnes); brother, David Kelley; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Alexander is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James "JW" W. Alexander; and brothers Joe Kelley and Mark Kelley.

In accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines a private service will be held for Mrs. Alexander's immediate family.

Interment will be in the Northview Cemetery.

The family respectfully requests that all floral arrangements be omitted and that memorial contributions be made in her honor to St. Jude Hospital, at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
