Mr. Austin Joe Kines, age 92 of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. He was born on September 13, 1924 in Rock Run, Alabama. He was the son of the late Glenn and Flossie Hinton Kines.

Mr. Kines is survived by his daughter, Angela K. King; sons and daughter-in-laws, Joe and Rubye Kines and Bruce and Priscilla Kines; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Arlene Kines; grandchildren, Joey and Ashley King, Katie Kines and Keith Langston; great-grandchildren, Matthew Langston, Joshua Langston, Jay King, TY King and Jesse King and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Kines is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Greathel Williams Kines; sister, Ruth Gowens; brother, Harvey Kines and granddaughter, Susan Langston.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Austin Joe Kines will be conducted on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery with Rev. Grady McDonald officiating. Full Military Rites will be conducted by the Brewster-Cleveland American Legion Honor Guard Post #86.

The family of Mr. Kines will receive family and friends on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from twelve (noon) until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
