Mr. Arthur Franklin Forrester, Jr., age 58, of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at his residence. He was born on November 11, 1950 in Piedmont, Alabama

He is preceded in death by father, Arthur Franklin Forrester, Sr., sister, Ellen Forrester, and brothers, Floyd Forrester and Ed Forrester.

Mr. Arthur Franklin Forrester, Jr. is survived by mother, Sarah Waller; son, James Richard Forrester; sisters, Langley Studdard, Judy Barnes, Caroline Owen, Rachael Medley, Linda Moses, Theresa Timms, Melissa Taylor; brothers, Howard Forrester, Franklin Forrester, Dewey Forrester, Curtis Forrester, and James Forrester. Grandsons, Jonathon Forrester and Jeremy Dowdy, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Arthur Franklin Forrester, Jr. will lie in state at 357 Fairview Avenue, Friday, February 6th and Saturday, February 7th. The family will receive friends during this time at the residence.

A private interment service will be held at a later date.

The Forrester family wishes to express special gratitude to Gadsden Regional Hospital, Gadsden Fire and Rescue, Regency Hospice, and Mr. Wilbur Reed.
