Mrs. Arrie Jeanette Wheeler Wright, age 97, of Cedartown, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009. She was born October 22, 1911 in Haralson County.

Mrs. Wright is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Elaine Wright; grandchildren, Jaime Wright Rickard and Corey, Jason Wright and Tiffany, Jeffrey Wright; great grandchildren, Kendall Celeste Rickard, Jonah Lee Wright; and sisters, Ethel Richards and Effie Bradshaw.

She is preceded in death by parents, Henry D. Wheeler and Gertrude Pate Wheeler; spouse, Euell Albert Wright; sister, Amye Phillips; and brothers, Bernard Wheeler and Roy Wheeler.

The funeral service for Mrs. Wright will be conducted on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at East View Baptist Church with Rev. Reginald Campbell and Rev. Gene Beck officiating. The interment will follow in East View Baptist Church Cemetery.

John Bentley, Nigel Campbell, Ronald Head, Benny McFall, Darrell Stephens, and Randy Vines will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 11, 2009, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home. Mrs. Wright's body will lie in state at East View Baptist Church for one hour prior to the funeral service.
