Mrs. Anys Edwards Barrett, age 75, of Cedartown passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2006. She was born on May 10, 1930 in Floyd County.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Robert "Bill" Barrett; parents, Lucius Brewster "L.B." Edwards, Sr. and Mary Alyce Gammon Edwards; son, Robbie Barrett and sisters, Betty Jane Edwards and Marilyn Edwards Thompson.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie Barrett Wilson and Steve Wilson and Leslie Barrett McClure and Jay McClure; son Lucius Brewster Edwards, Jr. of Lincoln, Alabama and sister, Jan Edward Dennard of Gordon. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Katie Wilson, Clay Wilson and Riley McClure.

The funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, April 30th at 3:00PM in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 29th from 7:00PM – 9:00 PM.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Edwards, Kerry Dennard, Kelly Dennard, Kevin Dennard, Ivy Dennard and Richard Dennard.
