Ms. Annie Mae Thompson Davis, age 97 of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016. She was born on September 29, 1918 in Polk County. She was the daughter of the late Joe Thompson and Willie Zuker Thompson.

Ms. Davis is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Jerry Junkins; sister, Beatrice Parker; grandchild, Michelle Madden; great-grandchildren, Will Kelley, Samantha Madden and Katherine Blevins; two great-great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Farrister and John Blevins and several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Davis is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Robert Anderson; second husband, Butler Davis and grandson, Robert Johnson.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Annie Mae Thompson Davis will be conducted on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 2:30pm at the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Spears officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Davis will receive family and friends on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 1:30pm until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Ms. Davis' nephews will serve as pallbearers.
