Ms. Annice "June" Ward Brannon of Cedartown, passed away on September 16, 2013.
She was of the Baptist faith. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed growing beautiful flowers. She was always trying to help people, whether it be with food, clothing or otherwise. She received an award from Mental Health for the 25 years of work, but also worked many more years afterwards. She was also a master beautician.
Ms. Brannon is survived by her brother, Robert (Bob) Olin Ward of Cedartown; sisters, Nellie Ward Smith and Wanda Haynes; special friends, Ann Shelton and Teresa Lindsey and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.
Ms. Brannon is preceded in death by her parents; Charles Franklin Ward and Lillie Allen Ward; husband, Thomas Franklin Brannon; brothers, Charles Thomas Ward, William (Bill) Ward, Joe Edward Ward, Doyal Ward and Donald Ward and sister, Louise Ward Coleman.
The graveside funeral arrangements for Ms. Brannon will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at three o'clock in the afternoon at Polk Memory Gardens .
