Mrs. Anne A. Edge Smith, age 89 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026.  She was born on March 30, 1937 in Cave Spring, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Newton Edge and Elgin Louise Edge.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter, Melinda Smith Rogers; son, Mike Smith; sister, Virginia Williams; grandchildren, Kevin Hampton, Kristi Robbins and Michael Smith and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James H Smith; sisters, Edna Taylor and Ruth Naegele and brother, James V. Edge.

The funeral services for Mrs. Smith will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 1 o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Olin L Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Phil Howard officiating.

Interment will follow in the Smith family lot of Sanders Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Smith will receive family and friends on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 10 o'clock in the morning until the service hour at the Olin L Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Kevin Hampton, Michael Smith, Jacob Estes, Tony Estes, Hank Cody and Randy Burns.
