Mrs. Anita Norton, age 93, of Cedartown passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010. She was born in Palmetto, Florida on March 31, 1917. She is the daughter of Foster and Frances Riviere Lloyd (both deceased).

She is preceded in death by her parents Foster and Frances Lloyd, husband, Fred Harold Norton, sister, Virginia Boyett and aunt and uncle, Paul Riviere and Virginia Riviere.

Mrs. Norton attended Bob Jones University and the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida with a Bachelors degree.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cedartown.

Mrs. Norton is survived by daughters; Frances Norton Lanier, and Pamela Norton Lee and son in-law Jerry Neal Lee, three grandchildren; William Todd Lanier and wife Laura, James Harold Lanier, and Darren Neal Lee and wife Diane; three great- grandchildren; Dawn Lee, Dana Lee, and Will Lanier.

A graveside service for Mrs. Anita Norton will be conducted on Saturday, July 10, 2010, at 1:00pm at the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home from 12-12:45pm. Rev. Earl Partain will be officiating.
