Mrs. Anita Jean Head Waddell, of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013. She was born on March 12, 1933 in Alto, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mr. James Monroe Head and Ida Belle Wade Head.

Mrs. Waddell is survived by her husband, John W. Waddell, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Patti Hodgens and David; son and daughter-in-law, John Waddell III and Missy and grandchildren, Ashley Waddell, Allyson Waddell, John Waddell IV and Justin Waddell.

Mrs. Waddell is preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Kenneth Head.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Waddell will be conducted on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 2:30pm with Rev. David Autry and Dr. Chris Bryan officiating in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Garden cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Waddell will receive family and friends on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from five o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family is accepting flowers; however, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, New York, New York 10001.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; John Waddell IV, Justin Waddell, Raymond Taff, Larry Wayne Rampley II, Jordan Mahone, Jacob Mock and Austin Mock.
