Mr. Ambous Stroup, Age 82, of 281 Adams Avenue, Cedartown passed away Sunday, January 23, 2004. He was born on August 24, 1922 in Polk County to parents Marion and Gussie Rowell Stroup.

Mr. Stroup is preceded in death by his parents Mr. Marion and Mrs. Gussie Rowell Stroup.

He is survived by his Wife, Mrs. Helen Frances Smith, a Daughter, Debbie Joan Stroup and two Sons, Larry and Terry D. Stroup, Sr. 8 Grandchildren and 7 Great, Great Grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, January 25th from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Gammage Funeral Home.

The funeral for Mr. Ambous Stroup will be conducted on Wednesday, January 26th at 2:00pm at the Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. James L. Rosser officiating. Interment will follow at Northview Cemetery.

Pallbearers are T.J. Stroup, Kerry Eason, Oliver Stroup, Jerry Stroup, Doug Davis, Jimmy Rosser, Randy Smith & Wayne Wood; Honorary Pallbearers are Billy Croker and Happy Lee.
