Ms. Alline Moody Dawson, age 94, of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012. She was born on December 1, 1917 in Dalton, GA. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John William and Mary Thompson Moody.

Ms. Dawson is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marie Hackney and Stanley and grandson, Kerry Hackney also surviving are several other grandchildren; great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Ms. Dawson is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Dawson; son, Raymond E. Dawson; grandson, Tony Dawson and sisters, Trey Dingler and Ruby Moody.

A graveside service for Ms. Dawson will be Saturday, July 14, 2012 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Rebecca Holmes officiating.

The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, July 14, 2012 from two o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour.
