Mrs. Agnes Winkles, Age 77 of Cedartown passed away Thursday, October 27, 2005. She was born on March 9, 1928 in Polk County to the late Joe and Vera Sanders.
Mrs. Winkles was a member of Friendly Baptist Church for over 50 years and she worked at the Goodyear Mill in Cedartown for 32 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Helen Cash; two brothers, Edward Sanders and Ned Sanders; a daughter, Ester McRae; and two granddaughters, Tonya and Tasha McRae.
She is survived by a daughter, Dephane Campbell; a sister Evelyn Goodsell; three brothers, Lowell Sanders, Sherman Sanders and Dwight Sanders; four granddaughters, Julie Pitts, Judy Akins, Rhonda Simpson and Tammy Barnett; a great grandson Kyle Pitts; 3 great granddaughters Miranda Thompson, K.C. Barnett and Jonie Barnett. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, October 30th at 3:00PM in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. R.B. Hulsey officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 29th from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at Gammage Funeral Home.
