Ms. Addie Lou Cooley, age 61, of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2011. She was born on March 24, 1950, in Cleburne County, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Mr. William Doy Knight and Mrs. Eula Maggie Surrett Knight.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Betty Sue Elrod and Dorothy Reeves; and brothers, Comer Alred, Nolan Alred, Cecil Alred, and Leo Alred.

Ms. Cooley is survived by her sister, Nettie Forrister and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Cooley will be conducted on Monday, November 14, 2011 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Dr. Dewayne New officiating.

Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Cooley will receive family and friends on Sunday, November 13, 2011 from six o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Herbert Forrister, Sr., Herbert Forrister, Jr., Darrell Forrister, Bradley Forrister, Larry Elrod, and Dwain Rutledge.
